Hello, Team Naaman! As promised, here is a post with important news you won’t want to miss. We know not everyone is on social media, and we don’t want anyone left out of the party.
Team Naaman News:
*Come ride for The 2020 Cycle Against Cancer!
The Connecticut Cancer Foundation (CCF) does awesome work for kids and adults affected by cancer. One way they help is by raising money through cycling events, and Naaman was chosen as one of three ambassadors this year! You can read about CCF and the cycling events at www.ctcancerfoundation.org, or click here. The cycling events are held at athletic clubs around CT, so check the schedule for the one that works best for you. The ride at Core Club in Durham on 3/14 will directly benefit Naaman.
Neil and I chose to sit this year out, and ride next year to benefit another family.
*VOTE FOR RESILIENCE GIVES!
Resilience Gives has been nominated for the FedEx Small Business Grant contest. Vote for them here once every 24 hours until 3/8/2020 to get them into the finals! Jake and Lexi are hard-working, creative and full of love for the cancer community. Very deserving of this large grant, so get voting people.
*Team Naaman Softball is back at it this spring…
with flashy new apparel!
We don’t blame your excitement over jerseys and baseball caps, Team Naaman. At the moment we’re hammering out the fine details and will post directions on where/how to order. Design and creation by @Christhebarbercruz! Heads up: this will be a local production, and shipping will be limited. Never fear; we have the online Bonfire shop to update with new apparel, too.
Thank you all for ongoing prayers and support. Stay warm, Team Naaman!
